As you know, i like to read about another dimensions, science fiction, the universe, etc. This time I'm writing about 4 science fiction genres, enjoy it.
Also known as Victorian Futurism, we can find science fiction elements or fantasy with western aesthetics, circus and pirate, it has anachronistic technologies and futuristic inventions imagined by visionaries of their time where the steam technology is preserved, all seen from the Victorian perspective in the culture, art, fashion even architecture.
CYBERPUNK
It´s a science fiction subgenre, known for reflecting dystopic visions of the future in where advanced technology is combined with a low standard of living, commonly using elements of the police novel, crime fiction, and the neo noir. Usually. it´s established in large-scale cities and deals with problems such as cybernetics, hackers, mega corporations and artificial intelligences.
SOLARPUNK
Is a Futuristic genre known as ecotopia. Is often pro-anarchist and describes an "ideal" future where the inhabits lives in peace with nature. Global warning, pollution and other problems of today don´t exist in the Solarpunk culture, and everything works with solar energy or is completely ecological.
SCRAPPUNK
The most decisive feature of this retrofuturism variation is that several technologies are manufactured or worked with scrap metal. The use of waste by societies doesn´t respond to a fashion or a means of expression, but to a need that arises from a generally apocalyptic event that ended with all new technologies, science and new raw materials, which obliges survivors reuse nearby waste.
